Jill Darcey — Founder

Jill Darcey (Parent, Author, Founder, Speaker), is a mother of three with thousands of hours of experience as a counsellor and coach, and more than a decade of real-time experience with Complex Family parenting. She is someone who has both vision and wisdom and has learned a lot of what does and doesn't work - and some of it the hard way!

Jill's passion is working with people to gain greater skills and knowledge - and she loves parenting! Putting the two together, her mission is to work alongside parents to grow the best parenting style for their children and for future generations.

Holding senior executive positions in the corporate world for over 10 years, Jill founded a successful Life Coaching business to serve blue-chip companies, and then went on to co-direct an IT company. She has also gained sporting achievements and dabbled in creative pastimes while ‘keeping her eye on the ball’ as she raises her three children.

Fiona Harland — Director

Fiona Harland (Parent, Business Owner); a mother of three, step mother of two, and grand mother of five. The wisdom of hindsight; nothing beats experience. Being in a Complex Family can be challenging yet very rewarding, and Fiona has certainly walked the path!

Currently a full time business owner, Fiona works with her new life partner running a successful Recruitment Firm. She has worked in the corporate sector for the last 15 years while juggling parenting, and is now entering one of the most joyful times of her life being that of a grandparent - albeit within a Complex Family environment.

Anton Ashcroft — Psychologist

Anton Ashcroft (Parent, Psychologist) has worked as a Senior Forensic Psychologist within the prison service, and as a specialist psychologist for the homeless for the Leicestershire Community Drug and Alcohol Service.

Anton teaches on several university courses while working as a freelance consultant, trainer and researcher, as well as actively developing drug treatment programs for the prison service. He also enjoys acting, business ventures and valuable time with his family.

Sharon Running — Director

Sharon Running (Parent, Business Partner); a mother who has navigated the waters of a Complex Family for many years providing the much needed ongoing love, stability, and support for her children.

Whilst raising her family, Sharon has juggled her career as a co-owner of a successful accounting practice. During this time, Sharon has lead a great team, whom have been with her for many years as a tribute to who she is and her true business acumen.

Simon Darcey — General Manager

Simon Darcey (Stepparent, Sales, Marketing); now a stepparent of three who dared to take on the challenge directly from bachelorhood. Having won the affections of children and family, Simon has become an integral part of the Parenting Team.

For over a decade Simon owned a successful IT company, specialising in system development for small, medium and high-end corporate clients. Following selling his business after 20 years in IT, Simon has forged a new path combining his years of experience with his contagious personality to lead Sales & Marketing, and General Management for Complex Family Foundation.
